PUBLICATION DESIGN - THE ART OF POLAROID

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Typography & Publication Design
Wayne State University

Created during a Typography course at Wayne State University, this project provided in-depth experience with typographic systems, page composition, and the end-to-end editorial design process. The objective was to craft a visually engaging magazine layout, emphasizing hierarchy, readability, and aesthetic balance.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges that prevented physical printing, I adapted by utilizing digital mockups to bring the final design to life. This shift not only strengthened my ability to visually communicate in a virtual format, but also deepened my skills in layout design and presentation techniques.

This project reflects a strong grasp of editorial structure, typography, and creative problem-solving under constraint.
